Our first year as a non-profit was filled with grace! Thanks to our generous volunteers, ministry partners, and benefactors, we helped more than 3,000 people grow in spiritual depth and build genuine community. In the past year, we grew our donor base by 160% and doubled the amount of funds raised. We also expanded our hearts and programs to three new horizons.

EXPANDED HORIZONS

Christus Ministries guided and trained over 300 young adult friendly leaders from 12 Dioceses. After 2-years of groundwork, we expanded the Caritas Retreat to support an outreach that engages young adults from 10 parishes surrounding Boise, Idaho.  This community in Boise joins a wider network of young-adult friendly parishes partnering with Christus Ministries in California, Washington, Alaska, and Texas.

A Network of Spiritual Homes

Caritas has reignited our faith as a couple as well as inspire the way we serve. We both never thought we would see our young adult community growing and thriving the way it is now. - Sam & Allen

Christus Ministries is constantly developing new initiatives that meet the pressing needs of the Church today. In 2017, our team built community across generations through two new offerings that engaged young families through prayer and service. Beyond Survival Mode helped parents and young kids become more fully present at Mass. Backpack Building fostered solidarity among young adults, Catholic middle school students, young families, and college students as they served disadvantaged kids in Tijuana, Mexico.

Innovative Programs for Families

Christus Ministries has significantly shifted the way I foster faith in my children. I now focus on encouraging my kids to relate to God in their own unique ways as opposed to my way, during Mass or with prayer. - Alma

Our most consistent joy comes from helping young adults encounter, befriend, and fall in love with God in ways that deepens trust and grounds hope. As a result, people like Emily continue to be ardent disciples of Christ as well as a force of greater change in her parish.

Fostering Greater Spiritual Depth

I’ve served God for years, but I never imagined that relating with Jesus can be this safe, free, and intimate. My approach to prayer has changed completely; it is now charged with eagerness and joy! - Emily
