It is easier to assume that what we have to offer will never be enough to make a difference.
VISIBLE MARKERS
Like a guardian angel, hope waits in the shadows, quietly taking our hand when we have lost our way.
BE HELD IN GOD’S LIGHT
There is no need for us to feel that we have to hold it together, when there is One who offers to hold us Himself; hold us up to the light…His light.
THE GIFT OF FAMILY
The gift of family calls us to care for each other, acting with compassion, forgiveness, and gentleness.
STEP BACK INTO GRATITUDE
I find myself seeing an opportunity to reflect on this year as it closes, and to thank the one who walks step-in-step with us in everything: God.
FAITHFULNESS & FIDELITY
When I feel overwhelmed by my wounds, fears, doubts, and insecurities, I close my eyes and rest in prayer.
RUNNING BACK AND SLOWING DOWN
I never imagined how I am deeply loved by God with the new life and with the new eyes that I am given.
RESPONSIVE TO THE SPIRIT
Like Stephen, we have an opportunity to recognize and respond to the Holy Spirit – to receive God’s self-giving love – breathing life through the crib of the Christ-child as through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
TEARS OF JOY & GRATITUDE
What we celebrate this Season is the promise that God is with us, suffering with us, and became poor like us – with us.
God’s Nearness
This season isn’t just about the coming of Jesus once, but God’s presence, faithfulness, promises, and nearness all along.
HUMAN & BELOVED
What relationship is in need of Jesus' lens through which to see the other as both human and beloved?
OUR SHARED LONGING AND HOPE
It awakens a felt gratitude that softens my heart and opens it up to continue hoping in what is yet to come.
OUR TRUE IDENTITY IN THE LORD
The challenge is to shift my focus onto life’s abundance and allow God to reshape the broken ways I see myself.
HOPE IN GOD
Why would God bother with something so trivial? God “bothers” because we are not trivial – we are His beloved.
LOVING IN THE THRESHOLD
Creating this small haven of quiet regains my stillness and opens my heart wide enough to open what is closed, widen what is narrow, and love large where it is small.
