Fr. Tri Dinh, SJ
Executive Director

Originally from Saigon in Vietnam, Fr. Tri immigrated to the US as a refugee in 1975, studied Biochemistry at Rice University, entered the Jesuits in 1989 and was ordained in 2000.  As a Jesuit, he has taught in high schools, served disadvantaged families in the Philippines, ministered to parishioners in multicultural settings, and accompanied students at Loyola Marymount University, and Christian Life Community members in the US, Canada, and Europe. As Executive Director of Christus Ministries, he seeks to bridge young adults and families with the Church. He travels to consult with parishes, conduct retreats, conferences, and workshops on Ignatian spirituality, leadership, and community formation.

ThiThoa Ton
Programs & Events Manager

As the Program and Events Manager for Christus Ministries, ThiThoa creates warm, prayerful ambiance conducive for encounters with God and the community. She designs graphics and presentations to communicate and engage visually. With her attention to detail, she coordinates event logistics and volunteers for retreats and events. After experiencing a powerful moment on her own Caritas retreat, she captained the team for retreat environments before joining the Christus Ministries at its founding in 2013.  Before working in young adult ministry, ThiThoa was a Catholic educator in Los Angeles.

Jaclyn Guerrero
Programs & Administrative Manager

Jaclyn is the Programs and Administrative Manager for Christus Ministries. She helps with programs, retreat accompaniment, spiritual direction, and business management. Since her transformative experience on Caritas in 2012, she found herself volunteering for Christus events and eventually became a full-time staff member in 2016.  Originally from San Diego, she has over 20 years of youth and young adult ministry experience in college, parish, and high school ministry. She is a certified spiritual director and loves accompanying young adults one on one by listening to how God is at work in their lives. 

Heather Kumiyama
Parish Coordinator of Young Adult Ministry

Heather is the Parish Coordinator for Young Adult Ministry, where she accompanies young adults in building vibrant, Christ-centered communities, especially at American Martyrs Catholic Community in Manhattan Beach. With over 20 years of experience in parish life, she has served in youth, family, and young adult ministries, as well as in faith formation and liturgical leadership. Heather has coordinated sacramental preparation, retreats, RCIA, and parish-wide celebrations, always seeking to create spaces where people encounter God and one another. She holds ministry certifications in OCIA, catechetical leadership, and marriage preparation from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Heather’s work is rooted in a passion for discipleship and accompaniment. She loves walking with young adults as they discern how to live out their faith with joy and courage in today’s world.

Eva Bulus
Bookkeeper

Eva manages all the accounts and finances as the bookkeeper for Christus Ministries.  Her many years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and bookkeeping for various organizations has led her to Christus.  She plays an instrumental role in processing and maintaining records for all financial transactions such as donations, operating expenses, incoming and outgoing transactions. Originally from Manila in the Philippines, she moved to the United States with her siblings in 1989.  She now resides in Norwalk, CA where she lives with her brother, niece and dog.  She enjoys the joy, teamwork, and mission of Christus Ministries.

Truc Lys Nguyen
Administrative Assistant

Truc-Lys is a dedicated Administrative Assistant at Christus Ministries, where she helps with the planning and execution of a variety of events and retreats. Originally from Canada, Truc-Lys transitioned from managing a successful restaurant to bringing her organizational skills to the nonprofit sector. Having attended Caritas in 2010 and Veritas in 2015, she was inspired to help others discover and embrace God’s infinite love. Recently relocated to Southern California, Truc-Lys has started a family and continues to be inspired by her spiritual path. Her commitment to the ministry is driven by a desire to create impactful experiences that foster a deeper connection with faith and community.
