Are you interested in learning about the connection between restorative justice and environmental stewardship?

Join us for a morning of service and solidarity. Learn about how formerly incarcerated people are serving their communities through urban farming. Have a hands-on experience of composting and food packaging in preparation for local communities. This experience can encourage you to make micro-shifts in your care for our common home and apply ecological justice to your life.

When: Saturday, May 4, 2024 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm PT

8:30 am - Welcome & Overview of Service
9:00 am - Overview of ALMA Mission & Tour of Farm
9:30 am - Hands-on Service
11:00 am - Lunch & Reflection
12:00 pm - Departure

* Christus Ministries will help anyone who genuinely desires to participate but faces financial hardship. Please contact Jaclyn (jguerrero@christusministries.org) for scholarship information if cost is a concern.

Registration: Please register using the button below before May 2. Space is limited to the first 18 people who pay. Family participation is welcome. We ask that you register each member of your family to help us plan accordingly.

What to Bring:
- Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
- Hat
- Sunscreen
- Your own lunch and water bottle (There’s a refrigerator and microwave onsite)
