WK 1: Reflect 2x on your purpose-driven activities using the guided recording. Practice Ignatian noting afterward using the following questions:
What struck you or surprised you in your heart-to-heart conversation with Jesus or your friend?
What did you learn or notice about yourself as you related to the person you cared for or accompanied in a purposeful way?
OR
Reflect 2x on your resume virtues using the guided recording below & practice Ignatian noting afterward:
Is there a resume virtue that stands out for you? What would you call this virtue?
How do you see it play out in your life?
What do you think gives rise to this resume virtue?
WK 2: Practice meeting people 2x/week (using the First Encounter suggestions on p. 6) & reflect on the experience using these questions:
What’s memorable about the encounter (the person’s uniqueness, desires, hopes, concerns, etc.)
How did you find yourself to be more like Martha and to what extent? (e.g. focused on the tasks, doing or making- things-happen mode, pursuing purpose, etc.)
WK 3: Using the guided meditation below, pray on the Gospel about Martha and Mary & practice Ignatian noting afterward (2x/week).
WK 4: Revisit any insight or experience that you feel drawn to stay with longer from the past three weeks. Ask God, “Is there more you want to show me?” & practice Ignatian noting.
